You know that feeling when you’re trying to heal from something?
An injury.
Chronic pain.
A symptom that has been following you for months or even years.

You start imagining the finish line.

When will I be pain-free?
When will my body feel normal again?
When will I finally be able to do everything I used to do?

And sometimes, without realizing it, healing becomes another destination we are desperately trying to reach.

But recovery rarely happens in a straight line.

There can be better days and harder days.
Progress, followed by a setback.
A new movement that suddenly feels possible.
A symptom that returns and makes you wonder if you’ve lost everything you gained.

That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going backwards.

Maybe healing is not about reaching a point where nothing ever hurts again.

Maybe it’s about the direction you’re moving in.

Learning to understand your body differently.
Building trust in movement again.
Gradually expanding what feels possible.
Learning how to respond when symptoms appear instead of immediately fearing them.

The goal isn’t always to arrive somewhere.

Sometimes, the most important thing is simply to keep moving forward, if one path is leading you to the same point you might want to try a different way.
